Wes Radetsky:

Wes brings 14 years of triathlon experience and 7 years of coaching to Clay. Wes’s coaching philosophy is quality over quantity, injury prevention and work-life balance in triathlon. Wes is currently the head coach of the UVa Triathlon Team and the President of the Charlottesville Triathlon Club. He has coached numerous beginner triathletes with easy and enjoyable introductions to the great sport of triathlon.

Nicole Kelleher:

Nicole Kelleher is an accomplished professional triathlete and dedicated triathlon teacher and coach. She enjoys teaching athletes of all levels and believes in fostering an enjoyment and passion for the sport above all else. Nicole specializes in helping busy people with limited training time achieve their triathlon goals. Nicole is very excited to be a part of the Clay Fitness Triathlon Program and the growing sport of triathlon in the Charlottesville community.

Coaching Options:

I. Tri Program through Clay - Includes Tri Program Training Chart through April and Triathlon Weekly Schedule (Winter 2012 Schedule coded blue).

II. Individual Personal Tri Coaching ($280/month) – For those wanting one-on-one coaching in order to meet specific triathlon goals. Includes a customized plan for every day of the month. Each day has a workout broken down into duration, intensity (heart rate, watts, pace, perceived exertion), and recovery.

  • Weekly workouts given in advance and based on prior week’s performance and results
  • Accessibility to coaches on a weekly basis — by email/phone/in person
  • Personalized Training Peaks account for detailed breakdown of your training
  • Quarterly Swim Lab video for swim stroke analysis with one-on-one meeting to review video
  • One-on-one meetings before “A” races to discuss race execution

 

III. Individual Tri Coaching ($140/month) – For athletes not local to Charlottesville or for athletes in Charlottesville who don’t need close one-on-one attention. Includes a customized plan for every day of the month. Each day has a workout broken down into duration, intensity (heart rate, watts, pace, perceived exertion), and recovery.

  • Monthly workouts given in advance
  • Accessibility to coaches on a weekly basis via email – one email per week
  • Personalized Training Peaks account for detailed breakdown of your training

 

IV. Single Sport Coaching ($150/month) – Focuses on working on either cycling, running or swimming. Includes customized plan and workouts designed for everyday of the month. Each day has your workouts broken down into duration, intensity (Heart Rate, Watts, Pace, Perceived Exertion) and recovery.

V. Swim Lab: Technique and Workout Coaching ($80/hour) – Includes swimming stroke analysis through video analysis.
To analyze the biomechanics of your swimming in order to help you understand how to improve your technique. We use video analysis to deconstruct every part of your swimming and provide the feedback you need to be a more efficient swimmer.

VI. Run Lab : Technique and Workout Coaching ($80/hour) To analyze technique, gait, and biomechanics. We use video analysis to deconstruct you stride and provide the feedback you need to be a more efficient runner.
